Darknet

Admittedly, I did not care for Mather’s Cyberstorm. However, I wanted to give the author another run, so I chose to dive into Darknet. It is definitely a far-reaching tale, but it was entertaining. This story works on a couple levels. Many already have suspicion around global economy (Wall Street) and the powers that manipulate.

Toss in artificial intelligence that is crazy good, and the line between human interaction gets blurred. If you think identify theft is scary – well, sit back and read a tale of horror in this story about a stock broker’s life getting turned upside down; quickly. Jake (stock broker) has some good friends and he must rely on them to help navigate through the FBI, AI, assassins, and the power only money can yield. It isn’t a matter of staying free, but rather a drive to survive.
