Reapers and Repercussions

As I'm not a fan of high-fantasy, dragons, and LARPing, this installment of The Feedback Loop, Reapers and Repercussions, went a little too long in Tritania; namely the role-based tournament. I was much more interested in the RL snatch-and-go operation. I greatly enjoyed the new view on the Reapers and seeing that fleshed out a bit. What's up with Sophia? Stick up the Six or something else entirely? Time will tell. The Dream Team is back in the thick of things and the Yin to Yang's Proxima Galaxy is quite intriguing. I assume this too will play out in future installments. Although Quantum still longs for his Feedback Loop (at least the world and characters), he is showing growth for RL. Of all the things I could say, as an avid reader, I almost miss the free-flow that Cooper usually splats upon his readers. By that, I mean this is the most polished (his) material I've read to date. Big points for introducing some long-dead terms to readers. And as far as high-fantasy goes - at least there is a Fecal Pixie! 4.3 of 5 Stars. ARC provided by author

From the Publisher:

Things heat up in Tritania as Quantum Hughes and the Dream Team continue their search for Strata Godsick's son both in the real world and the Proxima Galaxy. An attack in the real world throws a wrench into their plans, as does an event and a key decision that may change the team forever. Expect giants, expect dragons, expect Quantum being as maverick as ever, expect a few twists and surprises as the Dream Team's membership grows by one and Quantum is finally able to use his favorite Loop weapons in Tritania. LitRPG action, cyberpunk, humor, science fantasy -- Reapers and Repercussions turns the Feedback Loop Series up a notch, delivering the most epic book thus far.
