Book Six. And I don’t see it ending quite yet. Quantum and the gang are back, but now, HumanDroids get a healthy dose of print. It was nice to see Yeshi and Rinchi make a small appearance in this installment; the location sets the stage for something unique down the road. If you want to know more about HumanDroids and these two ‘gals’, check out Cooper’s Life is a Beautiful Think series. So, Quantum is as Quantum does. And this time, he hoses himself pretty bad. Luckily, the Dream Team has a unique card to pull; allowing Q-Daddy a sense of freedom. The lust triangle is still at play and we find out Sophia looks good in lingerie. There is a nice bit of resolution with Godsick in this adventure. This round even has a big old clown. In all, the setting takes you to the RW, Tritania, and the Loop. Overall, this is fun journey. 4 of 5 stars. From the Publisher:
Quantum makes a grave mistake which places him in a very a sticky situation. A scientific discover sends Aiden to a world he's only imagined, introducing a new angle to the series that shakes the foundation of both the digital and the real world. Doc and Rocket get into a bit of trouble, only to be rescued by the cavalry of Dream Team members and Tritania players. Strata Godsick's empire is on the verge of collapse after a familial betrayal and as the novel progresses, it becomes abundantly clear to all involved that revenge is a dish best served pixelated. Humor, easter eggs, explicit violence, cool weapons, real world consequences and technological musings, Cyber Noir Redux is everything you've come to expect from the Feedback Loop series and more. Return to The Loop, return to where it all started, and who it all started with. The thin line between dream and reality is pixilated.
